Trademarking your Brand, Lawlady Didn't

Well, I thought about it.   I priced it.  But I never actually got around to pulling the trigger and trademarking Lawlady Inc.  Oops. Big mistake. I've learned there is a Lawlady.US.  Happy for her. Sad day for us.  Why didn't we Trademark?

It's always something on the to-do list.  Another administrative detail but costly and annoying to do.

I learned of Lawlady.us and called the trademark attorney about what to do next.

Don't wait too long to trademark your good business name.  It hurts when you see your brand depleted by competition!!

The Speed of the Modern Life

I'm a very proud woman-- well, that is when I'm not being a depressed, disappointed, dissing one.  

Being super proud (read, arogant!), gets me into facial contortions that read bitchy when I don't get my way. I'm so eye-on-the prize, it's like riding a very fast motorcycle up the winding forested road to the grocery store. The sound track is classic rock and roll.  Incessant. Get there. Go. Ride faster.  Move it.  Don't stop. Keep it up. Don't stop. You can do it. Just pup yourself up, get out there, don't stop.................................................................

stop?!!!!!

We already have more than everyone else on the planet. When will we tell ourselves to stop.  

Enough 

is

enough.

We've had enough. 

Now for what we want.

Osho says that "you get what you want when you had enough of what you don't want."

Do we know what we don't want anymore?  (That's a future blog.) 

Is it ok NOT to proofread before posting a blog?

Another way to say this is:  is it ok to have a ton of typos in a blog. Who should spend the extra time to understand?  The writer who seeks to be heard, or the reader who's trying to understand? 

This is my quandary of the day.  

Do I fire off good idea blogs asap, or wait and then potentially never post them because I never have time to proofread? 

I apologize I've been the type to post and save my own time at your expense.  

 But shit. I hate to proofread!#!

What it feels like to blog after a VERY long time away.

My brain creaks on.  It hurts.   It's as if, my hand covers my eyes and I squint crawling out from a cave, or a dark bedroom, or a long-time in the dark. It hurts.  My brain.  

"Don't make me do this again," my mind says.  

"I don't want to have more thoughts and ideas."

"I don't have time for ideas.  They make me crazy."  

These are the words my aching brain is saying to me.    

Embarrassed. Chagrined.  Sorry to leave my loyal readers for so long. 

Sad that I don't have the time to something I committed to a while back and ashamed that I clearly started something I can't finish. Sad to let the blogging community down.  Sad I haven't understood the heart of blogging.  Sad in many ways for the state of the world (another blog entry).
